ABOUT
Pax Vobiscum, my name is Abdullah Wafy. I am a junior software engineer based in California, with strong experience developing full-stack web applications that utilize React.js, Redux, Node.js, Express.js, Python, Flask and PostgreSQL. My educational background is in instructing/teaching. I have a BA in Classics with emphasis on the Ancient Greek and Classical Latin languages and literatures, an AA degree in English, and formerly EMT-B licensed and certified. I have an insatiable passion for learning and acquiring beneficial knowledge from the sciences, arts and technologies. Currently, I am improving my tech skills, learning daily, and working on building cool projects. I am looking for entry-level developer positions but am open for other suitable roles.

Clack App
Wanna chat or correspond? A full stack social and workspace live-chat in real time application with an emoji fun twist utilizing the following technologies for frontend and backend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Pug.js templating engine, Node.js, Express.js, Sequelize ORM, SQL, PostgreSQL for RDBMS, PostBird, PostMan, RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and Socket.io for the WebSocket. Our app is deployed on Heroku. Enjoy!
Custom Crafts
To the galaxy and beyond - All Sales Final! Custom Crafts is a full-stack e-commerce application where you can shop for creatively "custom" designed spaceships. The storefront app was built utilizing React.js, Python 3, GraphQL, Auth0, and 3D interactive models that leverage Google's Model Viewer technology. Users may sign-in, view, add-to-cart, write reviews, star, purchase and become return customers with profile and purchase history features. Customers may shop for different and varying styles of spacecrafts ranging from performance-build (i.e. racing), luxury, military, etc., all designed to suit their taste and whet their palates!
